Truck Bed Metal Kit Short Bed

The metal parts in this kit are manufactured of 16 or 14 gage steel, according to the original parts. Parts are ready to primer and bolt together. The kit includes hardware to bolt these parts together and bolt holes are provided. The kit also comes with instructions for bed assembly and bed wood installation. This kit does not include the wood bed floor parts, which may be ordered separately or as a wood bed kit.

• Note: Midway through the 51 model year, GM changed the number of bed strips from eight (8) to seven (7) strips. This change affects the bed wood, cross sills, rear cross sill and bolt kit. If you are ordering for a 51 GM pickup, please be sure to select 47-51 for trucks with eight (8) bed strips or 51-53 for trucks with seven (7) bed strips so your cross sills and rear sill will be correct.
