This is a complete hood lower latch plate assembly including latch. Black. All commercial and Utility (exc COE) Chevrolet Only, will not fit GMC. EDP coated using Electro-Deposit Primer, and the only surface preparation required is scuffing the surface for better paint adhesion. In using this primer, the part is protected from rust as long as the EDP coating remains under the paint. This is precision die-stamped from 18 gauge steel.
